There is a mention in the shysurfer entry that it also allows to post. I am not sure if this is not confusing as I think any proxy server will allow this. I have moved the section as is from the woraround. I was going to delete the posting mention but thought that if the other users would double check this it would be great. Please look into this.- brij

Maybe you could try this script as well for Firefox and Greasemonkey. It rewrites Blogspot URLs via Coral Cache.
For Firefox users, try the script linked to at the bottom of the post:

TOR (tor.eff.org) can be used for anonymous browsing/posting. Unlike un-encrypted proxy servers, it is not vulnerable to other forms of blocking. It is open source software and completely royalty/add free.

came across it before i read the news on boing boing...i first thought mtnl were the only newbs who banned blogspot access....
just pop in the required site name and you're good to go:)

As Indian blog readers have noticed, access to popular blogging sites like Blogspot has been blocked by Indian ISP's like Reliance, SIFY, MTNL etc. No explanation has been given for this action which is a blatant disregard for public opinion and freedom of speech.
Censorship of the media smacks of the days of the emergency in 1975. Galileo, Copernicus and others have been censored in the past by ignorant governements.
Lets not make India the laughing stock of the world. I'm sure better sense will prevail and this senseless censorship removed.

Almost all the workarounds would work for blog readers very well but most of them are not secure for blogger authors who want to post to their blogs. It should be explicitly pointed out that for authors using the TOR network seems to be the only option right now. - Varun (http://www.thoughtfulchaos.com/)
I was just affected by the foot-in-mouth disease. Seems like blogger.com can be accessed without problems and therefore blog authors should not have an issue here. Am not sure how it is for other blog service providers. - Varun (http://www.thoughtfulchaos.com/)

I guess those who have websites can surpass the Ban with the posts on ftp External Web Hosting solution with Blogger Help File. I have done this and works great. I presume many have visited my sites too!
