- Total information control attempted by military junta. The people of Burma are strongly opposed to the junta and information escapes by satellite telephone. However, finding a safe place to hide these telephones and make the calls is quite difficult.
- Almost complete Internet censorship. Junta has the power to disable the Internet entirely.
- Currently, Flickr, Blogspot, CNN, and YouTube are all banned, to prevent the public from uploading information.[1]
