Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is a movie based off of the TV show Batman Beyond. The movie was made by Warner Brother and was relased in 2000, in order to get the PG rating scenes with strong violence were editied down and blood was digitally removed. The cuts that the MPAA requested were applied to every country as a result there was no uncensored version until the Director's Cut came out.

• The scene that shows Batman hitting the scarecrow in the stomach was cut.
• The scene that shows Bonk getting hit by batman in the stomach was cut.
• The scene that shows Bonk in pain due to Batman hitting him was replaced with a white flash.
• The scene that shows Batman beating up the thugs was cut.
• The scene that shows Batman hitting the thugs two times was cut.

• In the PG version the Joker poisons Bonk with gas from his toy gun, it also shows the Joker thowing away his gun and shows Bonks corpse. In the Director's cut it just shows him shooting Bonk with a little flag from the toy gun.
• In the PG version we hear Bonks laughing, in the Director's cut he is dead.
• The scene that shows the Joker asking eveyone if they are with him was cut.
• The scene that shows the Joker talking about how Bonk is dead was cut.
• The scene where the Joker asks Dee-Dee to take out the trash was cut.
• The scene that shows Bruce and Terry are in the car was modified for the PG release. In the PG version they are wearing seatbelts, in the Directors cut they are not.

• The scene that shows Scarecow grabbing Dana's hair was cut.

• The scene that shows the Joker pulling a knife from his sleeve, and startting to attack Batman with it. In the PG Version the Joker punches Batman.

• The scene that shows blood on Batman's mouth when he is falling was modified for the PG release. In the PG version the blood was digitally removed.

• The scene that shows Joker stepping backwards was modified for the PG release. In the PG version the Joker tries to attack Tim but slips and grabs a lever, witch results in him accidentally pulling it and getting electrocuted.

• The scene that shows Batgirl coming in and seeing what has happened was modified for the PG release. In the PG version Batgirl hears the Joker screaming, and then runs into the building.

• The scene that shows Batman getting out of the Batwing was modified for the PG release. In the PG version Batman is shown getting out of the seatbelt, in the Director's Cut Batman never puts on a seatbelt.
• the scene that shows the laser desotrying a movie theater was modified for the PG release. In the PG version the buildings name was digitally removed, as a result you couldn't that is was a movie theater.

• The scene that shows the dog bitting the monster's arm was cut.
